Book Launch April 6, 2021
Pelted by Flowers, My debut collection of poems launches into the world on April 6. It has a gorgeous cover and I am so happy to be published by CavanKerry Press. Feminine Rising
My poem, “Puberty,1956” was published in 2019 in the anthology Feminine Rising, edited by Andrea Fekete and Lara Lillibridge. One of the unanticipated boons of the pandemic and Zoom’s popularity has been that small groups from the 70 authors in the anthology can get together and do readings together virtually. I was delighted to have a chance recently to read with five excellent writers of poetry and prose. Each of us had 6 minutes to read excepts of our work from the anthology — in my case that meant I could read my poem twice and talk a little about it! Click here to watch the recording of our group. First Book
I am happy (that’s an understatement!) to announce that my first collection of poems will be published by CavanKerry Press in April, 2021. The tentative title of the collection is Pelted by Flowers, which is a line from my poem “Three Seals” You can hear me read the poem there, too.
